Kandahar Apartments, Bansko
We have two apartments available to rent in the small Kandahar block of 34 apartments.
The block opened in January 2008 and is run by a mixed team of British and Bulgarians who are passionate about skiing and snowboarding in Bansko.
Kandahar has a 24 hr manned reception during the season and the staff are happy to help with any queries you may have, such as help in organising lift passes or recommending their favourite restaurants and bars in the Old Town.
Kandahar also has a leading British Ski and Snowboard school, Method, based on the ground floor. They have a shop selling all the season's latest gear and offer lessons from top-qualified UK instructors.
An on-site sauna, jacuzzi, massage room and gym are due to be in place in summer 2009, in time for the 2009/10 season. An on-site ski and boot room is located in the basement.
Apartment details
Studio
The studio apartment is number B4 on the first floor of the Kandahar block and includes a large balcony with scenic views over the resort of Bansko and surrounding mountains.
The open plan living area is fully furnished with dining table and chairs to seat 4 people, TV and DVD. There is also a wardrobe and boot rack in the hallway. The sleeping area consists of very comfy adult bunk beds and a sofa bed. The studio is perfect for friends sharing or a couple.
One Bedroom
The one bedroom apartment is number B11 on the second floor of the block. The apartment has a good sized double bedroom with very comfy double bed and wardrobe. The lounge area is fully furnished with TV and DVD, dining table and chairs and a sofa bed. There is a boot rack in the hallway.
Bathroom
The separate bathrooms in each apartment have both a shower and bath to ease aching limbs. They come with a hairdryer, heated towel rail and shaver point. All towels are provided for guests and changed regularly.
Kitchen
The kitchens in each apartment are open plan and have everything needed for self-catering including all utensils, pans, cutlery, crockery and microwave. Appliances include kettle, toaster and fridge.
